About Us
We at Llechwedd Meats strive to supply the finest quality meat and meat products on the market today. All our products are fully traceable form FARM GATE to DINNER PLATE.
We supply local authorities, large chain businesses and care homes. All products are prepared in temperature controlled production areas in compliance with our HACCP Plan and Food Standards Agency requirements. We are SALSA certified and are audited by Hybu Cig Cymru.
History of Our Business
The current business started over 30 years ago selling meat from our farm to local catering establishments.
In 2012 we moved into a purpose built factory and cold store complex in Parc Bryn Cefni in Llangefni. The new factory was built to provide a unit of 15,000 square feet cold storage for 180 pallets and an ultra modern cutting facility.

We at Llechwedd Meats have our own farm which has been in the family for over 40 years. All our livestock is slaughtered locally and processed in our factory. This reduces the number of food miles and contributes to reducing our carbon footprint.

We are proud of the growth of the Company over the last 30 years, our expansion has included a fleet of temperature controlled vehicles. Our plant is Food Standards Agency approved as well as our cold store. A full traceability system is in place
